British No.3 Kyle Edmund has advanced to the quarter-final of the Delray Beach Open in Florida after beating Taiwan’s Lu Yen-Hsun 6-3 3-6 6-2 in a rain-delayed encounter.
Yen-Hsun made life difficult for Edmund in the second set, but the Brit responded well in the third to break Yen-Hsun’s serve twice and clinch the tie.

That’s the good news. The bad news is that Edmund will now face the top seed Milos Raonic in the next round and the Canadian is looking in decent form after besting Borna Coric in straight sets.
